As a ceremony specialist, I create and facilitate unique personal ceremonies to mark important life milestones. Our modern culture has forgotten what indigenous people have always known, that we are all connected to each other.  We have to create opportunities to approach the Divine within and around us with reverence and awe.  We need rituals to grieve, heal, and to celebrate together.

 

As a Life-Cycle Celebrant, I am passionate about and skilled in listening deeply and weaving your experience into a ceremony with storytelling, metaphor, and ritual.  My aim is for you to experience the depth and richness of connection and meaning from your experience.

I collaborate closely with you to create a customized ceremony that tells your specific story, includes symbols and rituals to embody your experience of grief and/or joy, and becomes part of your path own toward growth and meaning.  Ceremonies can be private just for you or close friends/family or can be a community event for larger groups.

I officiate and facilitate ceremonies which reflect your unique beliefs and values without imposing my own.  With a warm authentic presence, I am skilled in listening, writing, public speaking, and ritual. I will work with you throughout the entire process until you are satisfied with the ceremony.  I will provide you with a personalized keepsake of the final ceremony. I am also an Ordained Minister with the Universal Life Church and can officiate weddings.

How much does Life-Cycle Celebrancy cost?  Fees vary depending on length and complexity of ceremony, travel, etc.  Ask for a free consultation to determine what would best meet your needs. A deposit is required with payment balance due prior to the day of service.

How long does Life-Cycle Celebrancy Last?  I recommend you allow 3-6 months for planning a ceremony.  The bulk of the work is in the creative planning and revisions.  The ceremony itself is generally brief, depending on the type, but generally range from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Where does Life-Cycle Celebrancy take place?  After the initial consultation, I will send you a questionnaire to complete to further clarify the ceremony you wish to create.  Based on that, I will meet with you in person at a mutually agreed upon location to discuss my ideas and form an agreement. Then, I will create and send a ceremony for you to review.  You are free to make any changes you like, and I will edit it until it is just what you need.  I will then facilitate the ceremony at the venue of your choice on the agreed upon date.
